Sunday evening's closing ceremony concluded 16 days of thrilling sporting competition and amazing athletic endeavor. However, perhaps for these unlucky sportsmen and women, the extinguishing of the Olympic Flame couldn't have come a moment too soon. Here's a roundup of the best fails from the second week of the London 2012 Games.

Alvaro Rodriguez of Spain gets things started, taking a nasty fall during the first round of the men's 1500m at the Olympic Stadium.

Hooray for China!  There are super achievers there!!!   However, when we talk ****ut the products they make and sell in 3rd world countries like the Philippines and other SE Asian countries - China is a looser! Their products are very bad & designed to fail early - but they’re cheap - so the poor people will buy them, and buy them again and buy them again. The Chinese business ty****s, the so-called winners-of-business, are really the big-cheaters; for years they've been quietly building international, politically protected trade monopolies, ****eled by bribes, backed by violence and with their hand-picked, old-boy national contacts and bed-mates. These business-steroided, Chinese monsters happily apply their trade at the expense of the poor national consumers, so poor they have no voice to complain (but only enough to buy the plastic crap one-more-time). Well, they may fool the world, but they can't fool the poor unwilling, habitual users of their substandard products, or the 1st world philanthropists and workers who work side-by-side with the poor, dumb 3rd world schmucks, who have no choice in the matter. My warning to you Chinese-Goliaths and athletes of business is: LOOK OUT. Times are changing; you will soon be knocked over by the little guy - or the moral characters - because you are noting on the world's stage and you will not last.
